TrackNexus uses email-based one-time passwords (OTP) for secure, passwordless authentication.
How Email OTP Works
Email OTP provides secure login:
- •Enter your registered email address on the login page
- •A 6-digit verification code is sent to your email
- •Enter the code within 15 minutes to complete login
- •Codes expire automatically and cannot be reused

- •Rate Limiting — Maximum 5 login attempts per 15 minutes per IP
- •Code Expiry — OTP codes expire after 15 minutes
- •Attempt Limits — Maximum 3 verification attempts per code
- •Hashed Storage — OTP codes are hashed before database storage
Troubleshooting
If you are not receiving OTP codes:
- •Check your spam/junk folder
- •Ensure your email address is registered with TrackNexus
- •Wait 60 seconds before requesting a new code
- •Contact your admin if issues persist
